Masengo Gallery sculpture pricing is determined by the skill level of the artist, the type of stone used; rare stone is more valuable, the size and hardness of the stone, and the amount of time it took to create the piece.

The vast varieties of stone used, along with the great skills and imagination of these sculptors has led to many years of major exhibitions worldwide; which have been admired and praised by significant critical acclaim.

Pablo Picasso was an early admirer of Shona Stone Sculpture and is believed to have been influenced by this art form.

Shona sculpture is a permanent collection at the Rodin Museum in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Institute of Contemporary Art in London and owned by private collectors such as the Rockefellers, Prince of Whales, the Rothschild’s and Sir Richard Attenborough.
